Our Story

Lindt Farms was established in 2017 when we moved to our farm near Sunset, Texas. We had been raising and showing chickens for several years and wanted to expand to bigger livestock. We specialize in raising Texas longhorn cattle, a breed that embodies the spirit of the Texas frontier. We fell in love with the Texas longhorn breed because of their beauty and history. Also, Texas longhorns are disease resistant, require less forage, and provide a healthier meat option compared to other breeds of cattle. Our family, including our children, actively participates in livestock shows throughout North Texas, showcasing the quality and care we put into our animals.
